Winter is almost here and with that we are likely to get freezing or even below freezing temperatures. It’s important to prepare ahead for those cold wintry days.
Here’s a checklist to help get you started:
- Located Water Main in case of an emergency
- Insulated exposed pipes
- Inspected property exterior-all visible cracks sealed, to prevent cold air from getting in
- Sprinkler System Sprayed Out
- Hose bibs drained, insulated, & valves shutoff
- Maintaining heating inside the home, to protect pipes (and myself) against cold
